Comital Alluminio's plants, both in Volpiano and Sweden, operate in line with a rigorous environmental policy, with production processes that are completely in keeping with criteria for sustainable development. With over 50 years of history and continuous investment in technological innovation, Comital produces foil down to 6 microns in width, perfectly maintaining its geometric and surface characteristics, designed for such sectors as flexible packaging for solid and liquid foods, blister packs for pharmaceutical products and many other technical applications. Its production covers a rolled aluminium range with thicknesses from 6 to 50 microns using different alloys (1200, 8006, 8079) up to a maximum width of 1640mm.
Volpiano, Turin - Italy
Comital Alluminio's plant in Volpiano, just outside Turin - with its over 85,000 square metres of surface area, 23,000 of which are under cover - is one of the biggest industrial entities in the Italian cold rolled aluminium sector.
Skultuna - Sweden
The Skultuna rolled aluminium plant is located 120 km west of Stockholm, Sweden. It has been part of the Comital Group since 2004 and it provides the Comital Group with an excellent logistical service for its North European and Russian markets.
